Senior IT Engineer specialized in SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation (CM) responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining scalable, high-performance mediation workflows that transform raw usage data into billable events. Accountable for data integrity, traceability, and cross-module consistency with SAP CC and CI to support accurate financial reporting and revenue assurance. Requires 5+ years experience with SAP BRIM and SAP HANA, strong expertise in usage-based monetization, event-driven architectures, and high-volume data ingestion. Responsibilities include leading architecture and development of SAP CM solutions, defining transformation and validation rules, monitoring performance, and supporting integration and operational governance. What you'll do

  • Own collection, validation and transformation of raw usage data into billable events within SAP BRIM
  • Act as the CM functional authority within the BRIM landscape
  • Lead design, architecture, and development of scalable solutions using SAP CM and integration with R&D platforms for Finance use cases
  • Design and configure mediation processes, flows, pipelines, and workflows in SAP CM
  • Define transformation, validation and enrichment rules for high-volume financial events
  • Ensure data integrity, traceability and cross-module consistency for financial reporting and reconciliation
  • Monitor and optimize performance, throughput and processing latency
  • Build scalable solutions with logging, tracing, observability and alerting
  • Participate in integration design workshops and provide impact analysis for new usage models
  • Support testing, data migration validation, cutover and hypercare phases
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data quality and processing governance

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP BRIM with strong expertise in Convergent Mediation (CM)
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of SAP/Digital Route Convergent Mediation with ability to design and build complex, scalable workflows
  • Strong understanding of usage-based monetization and event-driven architectures
  • Solid knowledge of cross-module impacts between CM, CC and CI
  • Hands-on experience in SAP HANA (mandatory) and SAP BRIM (good to have)
  • Experience managing high-volume data ingestion and transformation environments
  • Strong analytical skills in diagnosing data discrepancies and processing failures
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven with emphasis on usage accuracy
  • Standard-first mindset minimizing unnecessary custom logic
  • Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments
  • Experience working in international and distributed teams
