Full job description

The Inventory Account Management Manager acts as the primary liaison between supply partners and Viant DSP client teams, managing relationships with media exchanges and internal teams to curate inventory. Responsibilities include managing programmatic inventory lifecycle, evaluating publisher offerings for quality and compliance, supporting sales enablement, providing technical recommendations, overseeing inventory integrations and billing, managing supply infrastructure, troubleshooting delivery issues, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams, leveraging AI tools for efficiency, producing supply health reports, and maintaining inventory standards. Requirements include 1-3 years experience in digital media/programmatic/ad tech or client service, familiarity with OpenRTB, strong communication skills, adaptability, proficiency in MS Office, interest or beginner knowledge of Google Big Query or SQL, and a bachelor's degree. Salary range is $80,000 to $95,000 per year.

What you'll do

  • Serve as primary day-to-day point of contact for Exchange partners
  • Support Publisher Business Development teams with merchandising guidance
  • Establish and maintain relationships with mid/long-tail publisher partners
  • Manage programmatic inventory request lifecycle including setup, health monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate publisher offerings and inventory quality for effectiveness and compliance
  • Facilitate sales enablement by gathering offering requirements and processing inventory briefs
  • Act as consultative expert on inventory strategies across channels (CTV, Display, Audio, OLV, DOOH)
  • Provide DSP configuration requirements and technical recommendations to internal teams
  • Direct day-to-day inventory integrations and manage supply billing inquiries and financial reconciliations
  • Manage supply infrastructure allocation including QPS management and partner capacity requests
  • Serve as primary liaison between inventory partners and client teams to troubleshoot delivery issues
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to share insights and feedback
  • Leverage AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, analysis, problem-solving, and client support
  • Produce supply health reporting and lead Exchange Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Oversee global seller and site block lists to maintain inventory standards
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment while quickly achieving product efficiency

Requirements

  • 1-3 years digital media/programmatic/ad tech or client service experience
  • Familiarity with OpenRTB standard and signals
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Consultative, strategic thinker
  • Adaptable and comfortable managing change
  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Interest or familiarity with Google Big Query or beginner SQL
