Full job description

InMobi Advertising seeks a full-time Marketing Intern for a summer internship (June 1 - August 21) based primarily in-office with some flexibility in San Mateo, CA. The role involves supporting marketing leadership and cross-functional teams in planning and executing events, activations, social media, content initiatives, and project coordination. Responsibilities include logistics, vendor support, content scheduling, research, and maintaining brand consistency. Candidates should be current undergraduates or recent graduates interested in marketing, with strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Familiarity with Google Slides, PowerPoint, and Excel is helpful. The internship offers $22/hour compensation, hands-on marketing experience across multiple disciplines, exposure to global marketing teams, and potential consideration for a full-time role based on performance.

What you'll do

  • Support the planning and execution of events, activations, and marketing experiences, including logistics coordination, vendor support, materials management, and on-site execution
  • Assist with social media and content initiatives, including LinkedIn support, content coordination, scheduling, and maintaining brand voice and messaging consistency
  • Provide day-to-day project coordination across multiple Marketing workstreams, tracking timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups
  • Partner with internal teams including sales, partnerships, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support sponsorships, campaigns, and broader marketing efforts
  • Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to support execution across programs and activations
  • Conduct competitive and industry research to inform planning, messaging, and strategic decision-making
  • Support creation of decks, presentations, and other marketing materials with clear, research-backed insights
  • Help maintain brand consistency across campaigns, events, and supporting materials
  • Contribute to ad hoc Marketing projects, administrative and operational needs as priorities evolve
  • Support marketing initiatives spanning both InMobi and Glance brands
  • Help identify ways to strengthen brand presence, audience engagement, and storytelling across external-facing marketing efforts

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or a recent graduate, with an interest in marketing, communications, events, brand, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines at once
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a thoughtful and professional approach to collaboration
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset and willingness to jump into both strategic and executional work
  • Interest in event marketing, content and social media, brand-building, and cross-functional project coordination
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift and no two days look exactly the same
  • Strong follow-through and a high sense of ownership, even on smaller tasks
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, or similar productivity tools is helpful
  • Curiosity about the technology, media, advertising, and consumer app landscape is a plus
  • Prior internship, campus leadership, event support, marketing, or communications experience is a plus, but not required
