Teads seeks an Industry Director, Automotive based in New York to drive revenue growth by developing and expanding partnerships with automotive OEMs and agency holding companies on the East Coast and nationally. Responsibilities include exceeding revenue targets, building senior-level relationships, delivering strategic insights on automotive consumer journeys and advertising measurement, negotiating multi-million dollar Joint Business Plans, collaborating with internal teams for campaign execution, and representing Teads at industry events. Candidates must have 8-10+ years in digital media, ad tech, or advertising sales with 3-5 years in automotive, proven relationships with automotive brands/agencies, deep ad tech knowledge including programmatic and CTV, familiarity with automotive measurement tools, and a history of meeting multi-million dollar sales quotas. Salary range is $280,000 to $325,000 annually including on target earnings. The role is full-time and hybrid.

What you'll do

  • Drive automotive revenue and exceed targets by developing strategic relationships with automotive OEMs and agency holding companies on the East Coast
  • Support revenue growth across US Automotive nationally
  • Build and scale senior-level relationships with decision-makers at major agency networks and OEM brand leads
  • Provide strategic insights on automotive consumer journeys, CTV/video cross-screen measurement, and cookieless audience targeting
  • Develop and negotiate multi-million dollar Joint Business Plans and upfront commitments with key partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver flawless campaign execution and measurable ROI
  • Represent Teads as an automotive subject matter expert at industry events

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of digital media, ad tech, or advertising sales experience
  • 3–5 years dedicated specifically to the Automotive vertical
  • Proven track record and active relationships with major automotive brands and agency teams
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystem including programmatic buying, video, CTV, and data/measurement strategies
  • Familiarity with automotive-specific measurement tools and attribution partners
  • History of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar revenue quotas
  • Strong relationship building skills with credibility and trust in the marketplace
