Full job description

Seeking a senior HR Director for APAC with extensive experience in multi-country employee relations and local employment laws. The role partners with senior Enterprise Sales leaders to drive people decisions aligned with business outcomes. Requires strong judgement in sensitive employee relations, commercial acumen, and a tech-forward mindset with interest in AI and automation. Responsibilities include coaching leaders, managing people risks, ensuring compliance, and improving HR processes across APAC and Greater China. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in-office.

What you'll do

  • Partner with APAC and Greater China Enterprise Sales leaders on people decisions
  • Reduce people risk by identifying employee relations themes and ensuring compliance with local laws and global guidance
  • Strengthen leadership capability through coaching and support on performance and sensitive matters
  • Bring clarity and consistency to complex multi-country people decisions
  • Maintain a hands-on view of employee relations and people risks across APAC and Greater China
  • Provide sound employee relations judgement and advice using legal knowledge and people data
  • Improve speed and quality of HR outcomes by reinforcing clear ways of working and collaboration
  • Build trust and stability by staying close to leaders and employees and following through on outcomes

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a senior HR Business Partner or HR Director in APAC
  • Hands-on exposure to complex, multi-country employee relations and local employment legislation
  • Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior commercial leaders
  • Strong judgement and confidence handling sensitive employee relations matters
  • Pragmatic, execution-focused mindset
  • Solid commercial acumen connecting people decisions to business outcomes
  • Tech-forward mindset with curiosity about AI and automation
  • Experience working within global organisations balancing regional and global frameworks
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort working with lean teams and shared service models
