Criteo seeks a strategic, commercially driven leader to head Retail Media Monetisation in India. The role involves defining and scaling retail media revenue strategy, building senior relationships with top retailers, and accelerating onsite and offsite commerce media growth. Responsibilities include adapting monetisation propositions for India, owning revenue targets, winning high-value enterprise deals, managing senior client relationships, collaborating cross-functionally, developing long-term monetization strategies, and representing Criteo in industry forums. Candidates should have 10+ years in digital, enterprise sales, retail media, AdTech, SaaS sales, or monetization, strong knowledge of India's retail and media ecosystem, proven success with C-suite stakeholders, and strategic negotiation skills. What you'll do
- Adapt and evolve Criteo’s Retail Media Monetisation proposition for the Indian market
- Become a thought leader on retail media value, trends, challenges, and monetization levers
- Develop deep expertise in Criteo’s retail media portfolio and articulate KPIs to drive adoption
- Own revenue delivery in line with quarterly/annual targets
- Identify, target, pitch, and win high-value enterprise monetization deals
- Scale onsite and offsite retail media revenue across retailers/marketplaces
- Build and manage senior (Director/C-level) relationships with retailers and top advertisers
- Act as a trusted advisor driving long-term monetization, platform adoption, and measurable growth
- Maintain senior relationships to influence client strategy and maximize partnership success
- Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Technical Solutions, Activation, Product, Legal, Ops, Creative, and Marketing teams
- Translate global priorities into India-specific action plans and monetization programs
- Drive internal alignment to accelerate adoption and execution
- Develop a long-term monetization strategy aligned with India’s growth needs
- Lead market mapping, strategic targeting, and execution of new business plans
- Strengthen and maximize agency partnerships, ensuring agreements and activations are optimized
- Build scalable, repeatable sales excellence practices for the region
- Represent Criteo at industry forums as a retail media expert and evangelist
Requirements
- 10+ years in Digital, Enterprise Sales, Retail Media, AdTech, SaaS Sales, or Monetization
- Strong knowledge of India’s retail and media ecosystem and Criteo’s position within it
- Proven success influencing C-suite stakeholders and managing large strategic accounts
- Strategic thinker with strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Client-centric leader with a team-first mindset and ability to work in fast-moving environments
- Preferred: Established senior relationships in Retail; experience in scaling retail media monetization programs
