Full job description

Samba is hiring a Conversational Marketing Specialist for the Growth Marketing team to manage 1:1 channels that convert high-intent accounts into qualified pipeline. The role involves designing, launching, and optimizing conversational campaigns across web chat, email, SMS, and phone outreach, partnering with sales to advance deals. Responsibilities include building automated chat flows, managing live chat for high-value B2B visitors, sending targeted outreach via Gong Engage, collaborating with marketing ops to scale automations, refining persona-specific messaging, managing HubSpot and Salesforce workflows, identifying funnel gaps, tracking and reporting campaign metrics, and using AI tools daily for outreach, personalization, automation, and analysis. Candidates should have 2-5 years experience in B2B demand generation or conversational marketing, be proficient with HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong Engage, 6sense, Drift/Qualified, and AI tools like Claude or Cowork. Strong skills in campaign automation, ABM, data-driven optimization, and cross-functional collaboration are required. Salary range is $90,000 to $110,000 annually depending on location and experience. What you'll do

  • Design and manage multi-channel conversational campaigns across web chat (live and automated), 1:1 email, SMS, and targeted phone outreach
  • Own the web chat channel end to end including automated chat flows and live chat for high-value B2B visitors
  • Send targeted 1:1 emails and outreach on behalf of sellers using Gong Engage
  • Partner with marketing ops to create scalable automations with workflow design, copywriting, triggers, and branching logic
  • Build and refine persona-specific messaging for key buyer segments
  • Manage and optimize HubSpot and Salesforce workflows for lead tracking, nurture sequencing, and performance measurement
  • Identify funnel gaps and build fixes including new channels or tools to improve conversion
  • Track and report on MQL to revenue metrics weekly and iterate campaigns based on data
  • Use AI tools daily for drafting outreach, personalizing at scale, building automations, researching accounts, and analyzing results

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B demand gen, marketing campaigns, BDR/SDR, or conversational marketing
  • Fluent in HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Comfortable with Gong Engage, 6sense, Drift/Qualified, and modern martech
  • Experience designing campaigns with automation logic including triggers, branching, enrollment criteria, suppression lists
  • Strong writing skills for 1:1 communications such as emails, chat scripts, call talk tracks
  • Understanding of ABM principles and ability to execute account-based plays
  • Experience interpreting marketing and sales data to optimize campaigns and report results
  • Daily use of AI tools like Claude, Cowork, or comparable AI tools for outreach drafting, lead research, campaign design, reporting, personalization
  • Ability to navigate complex B2B sales cycles, technical products, and large organizations
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with sales, marketing ops, design, and product teams
  • High quality standards balanced with velocity to meet targets
