Full job description
The Group Digital Director role involves leading a sales pod and actively growing business in the UK agency market. Reporting to the Head of Agency Sales, the role requires leadership of senior relationships and strategy across Publicis, Havas, and Independents. Candidates should have 8+ years of media sales experience focused on Publicis, Omnicom, and Dentsu, preferably in digital or technology. The role includes driving UK revenue targets, financial forecasting, team leadership, strategic development, senior relationship cultivation, and cross-functional collaboration. The position offers a flexible work environment with hybrid remote/in-office work, requiring proximity to the London office for occasional in-person collaboration. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required.
What you'll do
- Drive UK revenue and quota by leading the sales team to exceed targets across assigned UK agency patches
- Partner with individual sellers to deliver accurate financial forecasts
- Manage, motivate, and enable day-to-day success of the sales team
- Collaborate with Head of Agency Sales to define and implement market strategy
- Develop senior relationships with Heads of Planning/Investment and Business Directors
- Partner with internal operations, publisher development, and marketing teams to streamline efficiency and communicate market feedback
Requirements
- 8+ years of agency sales experience with focus on Publicis, Omnicom, and Dentsu
- Established senior network with high-level contacts across major agency holding companies
- Proven team leadership experience managing and scaling sales teams
- Solid understanding of the digital advertising industry and emerging market trends
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
