Full job description

Seeking a senior Demand Optimization Manager with strong technical expertise in programmatic advertising focused on PMP deals. Responsible for resolving complex technical issues, ensuring platform health and operational stability, leading cross-functional projects to scale optimization strategies and integrate new commercial features. Acts as a trusted technical advisor to clients, collaborating with account managers to translate business goals into programmatic strategies. Requires 3+ years experience in programmatic advertising or ad tech account management, deep knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, PMP interactions, advanced Excel/Google Sheets, BI tools (Tableau, Looker), and SQL as a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and project leadership skills needed. English required; French is an asset. Salary range CAD 80,000-85,000 per year. Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary technical lead for resolving complex and escalated issues and critical errors related to PMP deal activation, delivery, and performance
  • Provide expert diagnostics and support for platform configuration, deal setup, and bidder troubleshooting in DSPs (e.g., TTD, DV360)
  • Lead cross-functional internal projects to scale optimization strategies, improve operational efficiency, and integrate new commercial features
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor in client interactions, collaborating closely with account managers to translate business objectives into effective programmatic strategies
  • Conduct deep data analysis to identify causes of deal fluctuations and implement corrective actions to stabilize and optimize campaign performance
  • Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and measurement discrepancies to ensure accurate and reliable reporting on deal performance and spend
  • Perform structured testing to evaluate platform feature behavior and validate configuration changes, converting test results into actionable insights and best practices for internal teams

Requirements

  • 3 years or more experience in programmatic advertising, ad operations or ad tech account management with strong expertise in PMP deals management
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience of the programmatic ecosystem including DSPs and SSPs and PMP interactions
  • Proven expertise in data analysis and generating actionable insights from large datasets
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
  • SQL proficiency is a plus
  • Strong technical acumen to diagnose and resolve complex PMP-related technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical information to non-technical audiences and manage client relationships
  • Strong analytical thinking to interpret performance metrics and formulate data-driven optimization strategies
  • Proven project leadership skills to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders from initiation to delivery
  • English language required; French is an asset
