Samba TV seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the engineering team in San Francisco. The role involves full-stack development across an AI/agent backend, Node/TypeScript service layer, and React streaming UI. Responsibilities include designing system architecture, building backend AI services, owning the service layer, shipping front-end features, providing technical guidance, handling asynchronous streaming work, writing tests, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates must have 6+ years of professional full stack/web application experience, deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, strong React skills focused on streaming and async state, architectural thinking, solid fundamentals with PostgreSQL, SQL, Git, CI/CD, cloud deployment knowledge (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and leadership experience. A Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience is required. Familiarity with modern SSR React frameworks, AI/LLM application development, real-time streaming interfaces, type-safe API contracts, modern tooling, auth flows, observability tools, and scripting languages is a plus.
