Full job description

The Experience Enablers Group within Platform R&D builds foundational user platform services used across all Criteo products, focusing on scalable SaaS building blocks for accounts, teams, communication, and activity tracking. As a Full-Stack Platform Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of 4 engineers integrating this platform into Criteo's largest product, bridging platform builders and users. Responsibilities include defining architecture strategy, managing and growing the team, co-designing user platform systems, developing end-to-end features with Angular and C#, ensuring platform consistency, and mentoring engineers. Requirements include 6+ years of experience in web application development, backend skills in C#, Java or Python, front-end experience with Angular or similar, strong system design and API knowledge, leadership and mentoring experience, and excellent communication skills. What you'll do

  • Define architecture strategy and long-term technical roadmap
  • Collaborate with engineers, understand requirements, and propose solutions
  • Drive adoption of standards and best practices across engineering teams
  • Manage and grow a team of 4 engineers

  • Foster a strong engineering culture focused on trust, quality, and collaboration
  • Co-design and build systems for user accounts, self-registration, identity, and permissions
  • Develop collaboration and team management capabilities
  • Ensure consistency and reusability of platform services across different teams
  • Develop end-to-end features using Angular and C#
  • Design scalable APIs and backend services powering user interactions
  • Ensure high-quality UI/UX aligned with product and design teams
  • Maintain strong architectural consistency across systems
  • Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of core platform components
  • Contribute to CI/CD, testing strategies, and engineering best practices
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical excellence across teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of experience building and scaling web applications
  • Solid experience in backend development using C#, Java or Python
  • Good command of modern front-end frameworks (Angular or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of scalable system design and API architecture
  • Focus on users, communication, and clean system design
  • Ability to simplify complex problems into elegant, maintainable solutions
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Curiosity and drive to continuously improve engineering practices
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers in a full-stack or platform team
  • Experience collaborating closely with other software engineers' teams
  • Ability to define technical vision and drive adoption of standards across multiple teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across an organization
