Full job description

Lead the design and delivery of composable commerce front-end solutions using React, Next.js, Angular, and TypeScript. Define rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR) and develop reusable component libraries. Architect GraphQL-based data layers and integrate commerce, content, and third-party services. Optimize performance, accessibility (WCAG), and security. Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Requires experience with modern front-end architectures, GraphQL, API-driven systems, and headless commerce platforms. Full-time role based in New York with hybrid work model. What you'll do

  • Design and build modern, headless front-end architectures using React, Next.js, and Angular
  • Define rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR) to deliver fast, scalable applications
  • Lead development of reusable component libraries and design system integrations
  • Guide adoption of micro frontend and composable architecture approaches
  • Design API-first, headless commerce solutions integrating across platforms
  • Partner with backend teams to ensure seamless performance and scalability
  • Integrate commerce, content, and third-party services to create cohesive experiences
  • Architect GraphQL-based data layers connecting front-end applications to multiple services
  • Ensure performance through smart caching, query optimization, and type-safe integrations
  • Optimize Core Web Vitals and ensure fast, responsive user experiences
  • Build accessible solutions aligned with WCAG standards
  • Apply modern best practices for performance, security, and scalability
  • Mentor engineers and support team growth while staying hands-on
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners
  • Solve complex technical challenges and guide teams through implementation

Requirements

  • Strong experience building modern front-end applications with React, Next.js, Angular, and TypeScript
  • Comfortable designing scalable architectures and making technical decisions
  • Experience working with GraphQL and API-driven systems
  • Experience delivering high-performance digital experiences at scale
  • Experience mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Understanding or experience with headless or composable commerce architectures
