Full job description

OpenX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a FP&A Analyst with 1-2 years of finance and analytical experience to join the finance team. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, dashboard creation, and developing complex financial models. Responsibilities include analyzing industry and business trends, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, scenario analysis, dashboard automation, data visualization, and improving forecasting tools. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Math, understanding of financial statements and accounting principles, proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and preferred SQL and Adaptive Insights experience. Strong communication skills and adaptability are essential. Salary range is USD 67,405 - 79,500 per year plus bonus, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Location: Los Angeles, California.

What you'll do

  • Analysis of industry, business trends, and KPIs for the finance and overall organization
  • Forecasting, budgeting, reporting, long-range planning
  • Drive scenario and sensitivity analyses to support company strategy
  • Dashboard production and automation
  • Data visualization
  • Spin up ad-hoc dashboards as business needs demand
  • Continuous improvement of forecasting & budgeting tool (Adaptive)
  • Build a deep understanding of financial processes, including month-end close and other FP&A processes

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in forecasting, financial modeling, analysis, and project management
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Math (Statistics)
  • Understand financial statements and basic accounting principles
  • Experience in Adaptive Insights or equivalent tool preferred
  • Comfort working with large data sets
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides; SQL experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong work ethic
  • Easily adapt to changing environment and responsibilities based on organizational needs
