The Trade Desk seeks a junior-level FP&A Data Scientist to modernize and automate finance workflows, improve forecast accuracy using statistical and machine learning models, and build tools to enhance financial decision-making. Responsibilities include automating Excel processes, developing forecasting models, creating FP&A tools, partnering cross-functionally, maintaining data pipelines, and using LLM tools like Claude Code. Required skills include strong SQL, advanced Excel, Python scripting, Git workflow experience, problem-solving, financial controls awareness, and communication skills. Preferred experience includes 1-2 years in Data Science, Analytics, Finance, or AdTech, Python data visualization (pandas, Plotly), lightweight app development (Streamlit, Dash), automation, LLM tool usage, and programmatic advertising knowledge.
