Full job description

Finance Executive role supporting financial operational services for Hong Kong companies and China offshore business. Responsibilities include financial reporting, compliance, company secretarial functions, payments, invoicing, and supporting China finance team. Requires bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, professional accounting qualification preferred, 2-3+ years relevant experience, knowledge of HKFRS and local regulations, company secretarial experience, and strong communication skills in English and Cantonese.

What you'll do

Collaborate closely with UK Central Finance and China Mainland Finance teams to prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements for the Hong Kong entity
Support the month-end closing process, the year-end tax filing and financial audits
Manage the company secretarial functions for the Hong Kong company, including maintaining statutory records and ensuring compliance with local regulations
Review and apply for the company payment requests
Handle invoicing and payment tracking for China outbound business, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions
Assist the mainland China finance team with payment application
Provide support on other finance-related or administrative/HR tasks as needed

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) highly preferred
2-3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably generalist in small and medium sized companies
Strong understanding of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and local accounting regulations
Experience with company secretarial functions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
