Full job description
Marketing Events Internship for Summer 2026 (10 weeks) in a hybrid NYC setting. Responsibilities include assisting in planning and executing marketing events, developing event marketing materials, collaborating with Brand, Growth, and Product Marketing teams, and completing a final project. Requirements: full-time rising Junior, Senior, or graduating student at an accredited 4-year college, passion for event planning and marketing, strong organizational and project management skills, creativity, eagerness to learn, and legal authorization to work in the US. Paid $20/hour for approximately 30 hours/week from June 16 to August 20, 2026.
What you'll do
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and execution of marketing events including Smartly’s tentpole event ADVANCE
- Help develop event marketing materials such as presentations, invitations, and social media content
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand, Growth, and Product Marketing to ensure event success
- Work on a final project to be presented to the team at the end of the internship
- Work alongside fellow interns in NYC office
Requirements
- Full-time rising Junior, Senior, or graduating student at an accredited 4-year College or University
- Passionate about event planning, marketing, and brand experiences
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and project management skills
