Full job description
Ogury is seeking an ESG and Social Intern for a 12-month full-time internship based in Barcelona with a hybrid working model. Reporting to the Senior Director for Culture and Learning, the intern will support ESG commitments including environmental tracking, ESG reporting, social initiatives like milestone recognition, belonging, and wellbeing events. Responsibilities include supporting carbon footprint measurement and SBTi certification activities, managing sustainability partnerships, compiling ESG reporting inputs, managing DEI campaigns and strategy support using AI tools, building an employee champions network, designing and delivering the global People Connection calendar, owning milestone gifts programs, supporting recognition awards, and planning wellbeing initiatives. Requirements include current enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, prior internship or volunteer experience preferred, proficiency in Microsoft Office, interest in AI tools, fluency in English, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a self-starter mindset. What you'll do
- Support carbon footprint measurement and activities related to maintaining SBTi certification, collaborating with global stakeholders to gather and organize data
- Support sustainability partnerships focused on environmental impact programs, promoting them internally and communicating progress
- Help compile inputs for annual ESG/sustainability reporting and engage employees on global ESG initiatives
- Manage key diversity, equity, and inclusion internal campaigns end-to-end, including planning, execution, and post-campaign analysis
- Map external DE&I landscape using AI tools for competitive benchmarking and provide creative recommendations for future initiatives
- Build and nurture employee champions network motivated by sustainability and social impact
- Design and deliver global People Connection calendar using AI tools for campaign concepts, communications, and event logistics
- Own milestone gifts program for new joiners and long-service anniversaries, managing vendor relationships and distribution logistics
- Support coordination and promotion of departmental recognition awards
- Plan and execute wellness events, interactive activities, and health initiatives to improve employee well-being
- Manage day-to-day administration and promotion of Plumm well-being tool
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources, Sustainability, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Prior internship, volunteer, or event-coordination experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable working with data trends
- Genuine interest in AI tools and using them to boost productivity and efficiency
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to manage multiple live projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global, remote-friendly team
- Self-starter attitude with eagerness to create, co-create, and pitch ideas to stakeholders at every level
