Full job description

Smartly is hiring an Account Executive for the APAC Sales Team in Singapore (hybrid, minimum 2 days in office). The role involves full cycle sales activities including prospecting, meetings, attending trade shows, responding to inbound leads, and closing deals. Responsibilities include selling the Smartly Creative product to enterprise organizations, managing strategic client relationships, understanding customer needs, aligning product offerings with customer KPIs, collaborating with internal teams for demos and customer retention, and maintaining accurate sales pipeline and forecasts. Requirements include proven B2B SaaS or AdTech sales experience, knowledge of programmatic advertising and Google Marketing Platform/Ads Manager, ability to engage C-level stakeholders, existing industry connections, consistent quota achievement, and willingness to travel for industry events.

What you'll do

  • Sell Smartly Creative product by identifying, cultivating, and closing new business within assigned territory targeting enterprise organizations
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with senior stakeholders at clients
  • Acquire and maintain understanding of platform value proposition and customer needs
  • Align customer KPIs and digital advertising strategy with product offering
  • Partner with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, Partnership, and Customer Success teams to demonstrate solution, trial, conversion, and retention
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline with accurate updates for reliable revenue forecasting

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful sales and business development in B2B SaaS or AdTech, digital marketing, or paid social ecosystem
  • Experience in Programmatic Advertising and/or knowledge of Google Marketing Platform and Google Ads Manager
  • Strong desire and capability to learn about the product, organization, and ecosystem
  • Ability to engage with a variety of audiences including C-level decision makers
  • Existing connections in verticals like automotive, e-commerce, entertainment, gaming, retail, or travel
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding quota consistently
  • Ability to work in Singapore office at least 2 days a week (hybrid)
  • Ability and willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events
