The Enterprise Architect leads technical strategy for Adobe Experience Cloud implementations focusing on data, content, and customer journey domains. Responsibilities include owning architectural decisions, platform integration, and scalability to ensure enterprise performance and growth. The role integrates generative AI and predictive capabilities across Adobe's ecosystem, advising clients on AI-driven content creation, personalization, and operational efficiency. Key duties involve designing scalable architectures, establishing data governance and AI frameworks, advising on platform selection, and maintaining expert knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud products and AI tools. The architect serves as a technical authority, mentors teams, engages with clients and C-suite stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement using AI-assisted tools. Required qualifications include 12+ years in technology implementation or architecture with senior leadership experience, deep expertise in data architecture and marketing technology stacks, fluency in Adobe Experience Cloud platforms, practical generative AI experience, and strong communication skills. What you'll do
- Own technical strategy and reference architecture for Adobe Experience Cloud components
- Lead discovery and assessment workshops to define target-state architectures including generative AI
- Design scalable, resilient solutions balancing functionality, performance, cost, and time-to-market
- Establish data governance, identity resolution, activation, personalization, and measurement frameworks
- Advise on platform selection, technology roadmapping, and make/buy decisions
- Design responsible AI guardrails and governance frameworks
- Maintain expert knowledge of Adobe GenStudio, Firefly, and generative AI capabilities
- Advise clients on generative AI integration and governance in regulated industries
- Stay current on Adobe product roadmaps and AI capabilities
- Serve as escalation point and technical authority for complex implementation challenges
- Partner with architects, engineers, and delivery leads to ensure quality and expected outcomes
- Define and communicate non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture audits
- Mentor solution architects and engineers on architecture and responsible AI practices
- Engage with client technology stakeholders and C-suite on technical strategy and AI opportunities
- Lead business review discussions on technical health and AI readiness
- Develop client-facing technical narratives, architecture diagrams, and roadmaps
- Drive continuous improvement using architectural patterns, reusable components, and AI tools
- Build and maintain reference architectures, decision frameworks, playbooks, and AI use case patterns
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and pilot new solutions
- Collaborate with other Enterprise Architects to codify best practices and governance
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in technology implementation, architecture, or consulting
- 4+ years in a senior technical leadership or architecture role
- Deep expertise in modern data architecture and marketing technology stacks
- Working knowledge of cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric)
- Senior-level fluency in Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer or comparable platforms
- Working knowledge of generative AI and large language models
- Practical experience evaluating or implementing generative AI tools
- Understanding of AI governance, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices
- Proven track record designing and delivering large-scale, multi-platform integrations
- Experience leading architecture and design activities in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with enterprise architectural frameworks and patterns
- Active hands-on engagement with AI tools for research, documentation, code generation, and design
