Full job description

Engineering Program Manager responsible for managing projects and programs in product-facing R&D teams, delivering advertising solutions. Key duties include launching and evolving products, driving cross-functional projects, managing dependencies and risks, aligning priorities with technical leaders, ensuring timely and quality delivery, orchestrating team collaboration, supporting team transformation, and influencing organizational change. Requires BS/MS in Software Engineering or related field, 4+ years software engineering experience, strong project management skills, ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, ownership of project cycles, problem-solving and influencing skills, resource balancing, attention to detail, and English proficiency. Position is full-time, hybrid work model, located in Bucharest, Romania.

What you'll do

  • Work with product, engineering and operations teams to launch and evolve high-impact products
  • Own and drive complex cross-functional projects
  • Identify key dependencies and risks, and partner with other teams to resolve them
  • Partner with DevLeads, Engineering Managers and Tech Leaders to identify and align priorities
  • Work with teams to deliver projects and programs on time, on budget and with the right quality
  • Orchestrate work among teams involved and manage risk proactively
  • Assist teams with their transformation and help optimize the way they work
  • Leverage soft power to influence the organisation and challenge the status quo

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Software Engineering or related field (equivalent experience may be acceptable)
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in software engineering and a passion for technology
  • Strong expertise in Project Management, helping teams structure their plans and offerings
  • Know-how to tailor speech with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A keen sense of ownership and experience managing end-to-end project development cycle
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Great problem-solving and influencing skills
  • Experience balancing resources and ever-competing priorities
  • Focus and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills in English
