StackAdapt is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to manage and lead the creative pipeline team. The role involves leading backend engineers, supporting execution, removing blockers, and ensuring reliable delivery. Responsibilities include running agile rituals, conducting 1:1s, participating in code reviews and architecture discussions, coordinating with peer teams, incident resolution, hiring, onboarding, and promoting AI tooling adoption. Candidates should have 5+ years backend development experience in distributed systems and microservices, proficiency in Golang or similar languages, 1+ year people management or 2+ years tech lead experience, and experience in adtech or martech with dynamic creative optimization. The role is remote-first, open to candidates in Canada and the United States. Technologies used include Golang, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Aerospike, Scrum, and Kanban.
