StackAdapt is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to manage the creative pipeline team. The role involves leading backend engineers, supporting execution, running agile rituals, conducting 1:1s, participating in code reviews and architecture discussions, coordinating with peer teams, handling incident resolution, and participating in hiring and onboarding. Candidates should have 5+ years backend experience in distributed systems and microservices, proficiency in Golang or similar languages, 1+ year people management or 2+ years tech lead experience, and experience in adtech or martech with dynamic creative optimization. The company uses AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Aerospike, and follows Scrum/Kanban methodologies. This is a remote-first full-time position open to candidates in Canada and the United States. Salary ranges from $228,000 to $313,500 CAD in Canada and $208,000 to $286,000 USD in the USA.
