Full job description

Engineering Manager, Data & Analytics role to lead a team operating and evolving large-scale advertising data and analytics systems including real-time and batch data processing. Responsibilities include technical leadership of Kafka, Spark Streaming, Snowflake, HDFS, and object storage systems; scaling streaming workloads; improving system scalability, reliability, and performance; modernizing data ecosystem components; strengthening observability and operational excellence; enabling data capabilities for audiences, ad serving, ML, and AI use cases; and driving architecture reviews. Lead and mentor engineering team, manage hiring and development, establish ownership and accountability, plan and execute roadmap, balance new features with technical debt, lead incident reviews, and foster a culture of ownership and technical excellence. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical strategies, manage priorities and trade-offs, and communicate risks and investments. Requires 10+ years engineering experience with leadership, strong background in distributed data systems, hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, HDFS, and object storage, stakeholder management skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent. Experience in AdTech, ML/data infrastructure, or accelerated computing is a plus. Hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 remote.
