Magnite is hiring a Software Engineer II for their DV+ Delivery Engineering team working on a globally distributed ad serving system. The role involves backend design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of low-latency core components for an advertising buying platform. Responsibilities include delivering projects on time, designing reliable solutions, translating business requirements into technical designs, writing high-performance code in C++ or Rust, responding to feature requests and bugs, collaborating with teams, supporting production services, and performing code reviews. Requirements include a BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, 3+ years of software development experience, strong skills in modern C++ or Rust, understanding of systems programming, memory management, concurrency, algorithms, data structures, experience with agile development, CI tools like git and Jira, and relational databases such as Postgres with SQL. Nice to have experience includes asynchronous I/O frameworks, multithreaded design, high-volume distributed systems, and ad technology. The position is full-time with a hybrid schedule (Monday and Friday remote, Tuesday to Thursday in-office) in Los Angeles, New York City, or Broomfield, Colorado. Salary ranges from $115,000 to $135,000 depending on location, plus annual bonus and equity.
