Full job description

The Employee Relations team in Paris manages social dialogue, union relationships, and local negotiations to ensure legal compliance with French labor law and collective agreements. Responsibilities include managing CSE meetings, preparing mandatory social reports (BDESE, gender equality index), monitoring legal developments, benchmarking legal obligations in subsidiaries, and managing complex HR data to inform strategic decisions. Candidates must have a Master's degree or equivalent experience in French labor law, strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, proactive problem-solving abilities, and fluency in French and English. What you'll do

  • Manage company's social dialogue administration including CSE meetings, union relationships, and local negotiations with a strategic advisor mindset
  • Ensure legal compliance across all HR practices through rigorous legal research aligned with French labor law and collective agreements
  • Build and prepare mandatory social reports such as BDESE and gender equality index
  • Monitor legal developments and provide critical alerts to leadership on business-impacting changes
  • Benchmark legal obligations in subsidiary locations, conduct international HR reviews, and coordinate with external counsel for consistent standards
  • Manage complex datasets, maintain trackers, and deliver analysis and insights to inform strategic HR decisions

Requirements

  • Expertise in French labor law with a Master's degree in Labor Law (Droit Social) or equivalent experience
  • Thorough command of the Code du Travail and recent reforms
  • Analytical rigor and attention to detail managing complex data and regulatory datasets
  • Strategic mindset viewing labor relations as competitive advantage
  • Proactive, ownership mindset identifying risks and solving problems
  • Passionate about fostering constructive and honest social dialogue
  • Native French fluency for legal drafting and fluent English (spoken and written)
