RTB House is seeking mid-level engineers to support its Bidding Platform, which processes over 24 million requests per second with latency under 50 ms. Responsibilities include designing and programming system modules, optimizing software for response time and resource consumption, ensuring reliability and scalability, creating performance and correctness tests, analyzing new technologies for production use, developing monitoring tools, and continuously optimizing tools and processes. Candidates should have strong understanding of complex IT systems, proficiency in programming, knowledge of Internet protocols (DNS, HTTP, cookies), experience with concurrent programming and distributed systems, ability to monitor and analyze production systems, performance analysis skills, knowledge of high scalability and availability, C1 English and Polish proficiency, and a background in Computer Science or equivalent. Technologies used include Java, Python, Aerospike, Memcached, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, MinIO, Kafka, Clickhouse, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Jenkins, and Graphite.
