RTB House seeks mid-level engineers to support its Bidding Platform handling over 24 million requests per second with latency under 50 ms. Responsibilities include designing and programming system components, optimizing software performance, ensuring scalability and reliability, creating tests, analyzing new technologies, developing monitoring tools, and optimizing processes. Candidates should have strong understanding of complex IT systems, programming proficiency, knowledge of Internet protocols, concurrent programming, distributed systems, production system monitoring, performance analysis, and high scalability/availability concepts. Fluency in English and Polish (C1) and a background in Computer Science or equivalent experience are required. Technologies used include Java, Python, Aerospike, Memcached, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, MinIO, Kafka, Clickhouse, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Jenkins, and Graphite. The role offers remote work or office locations in Warsaw or Cracow, with cooperation on a B2B contract.
