Full job description

InMobi Advertising seeks a Director/VP – Strategic M&A Integration & Value Realisation to lead the People charter across global mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments. The role manages the end-to-end integration and value delivery lifecycle for large acquisitions, ensuring fast assimilation, organizational and cultural integration, cost discipline, and measurable business impact. Responsibilities include pre-LOI org due diligence, integration strategy and execution, org and talent assimilation, synergy and cost value realization, senior stakeholder governance, and building institutional M&A capabilities. Requires 12–18+ years experience in People Strategy, M&A, Integration, or Consulting, with 4–7+ years in consulting or M&A advisory preferred. Strong experience with global acquisitions (US & EMEA mandatory) and demonstrated ownership of post-deal integration and value realization is essential. The role demands deep knowledge of org design, workforce economics, rewards, compliance, change management, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bangalore, India.

What you'll do

  • Own and lead the People charter across global mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments
  • Own the end-to-end integration and value delivery lifecycle for large acquisitions and strategic transactions
  • Ensure acquisitions are assimilated fast, organizationally and culturally integrated, cost- and value-disciplined, and accretive to the core business
  • Partner closely with SIG Finance and CHRO’s office before LOI to assess leadership quality, org structure, culture, workforce cost structures
  • Shape integration hypotheses influencing valuation ceilings, retention vs redundancy strategies, and Day-1 operating model decisions
  • Design and own end-to-end integration strategy across people, org, cost, systems, and culture
  • Lead Day-1 / Day-30 / Day-90 / Year-1 integration plans
  • Drive fast, decisive integration choices and escalate trade-offs when required
  • Ensure integration momentum is sustained without prolonged disruption or fatigue
  • Lead future-state org design and leadership mapping
  • Make strategic calls on role redundancies, leadership transitions, and retention of critical talent
  • Drive cultural assimilation focusing on decision speed, accountability, ownership, performance rigor
  • Ensure acquired leaders and teams operate as one company, not parallel structures
  • Architect and deliver robust synergies across workforce, leadership layers, vendors, platforms, infrastructure, and operating model simplification
  • Partner with Finance to track real P&L and cash impact
  • Embed cost discipline from Day-1 ensuring value is realized
  • Hold integration teams accountable to committed vs realized value
  • Act as trusted extension of CHRO in driving enterprise-wide change
  • Partner closely with CEO, CFO, Business Heads, and SIG
  • Provide transparent executive-level updates on value realized vs committed, integration risks, org and talent implications
  • Ensure governance is tight, decisions documented, and trade-offs explicit
  • Build and institutionalize M&A integration playbooks, trackers, and governance models
  • Create repeatable frameworks that scale across multiple concurrent deals
  • Ensure auditability and readiness for IPO-level scrutiny
  • Codify learnings to continuously strengthen organization’s M&A capabilities

Requirements

  • 12–18+ years of experience across People Strategy, M&A, Integration, or Consulting
  • 4–7+ years in consulting or M&A advisory environments (Big 4, Aon, Mercer, WTW, or similar) strongly preferred
  • Strong, hands-on experience with global acquisitions (US & EMEA mandatory)
  • Demonstrated experience owning post-deal integration and value realisation
  • Deep understanding of org design and workforce economics
  • Deep understanding of rewards, cost structures, and compliance
  • Deep understanding of change management in high-stakes environments
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and executive presence
  • Ability to operate with high ambiguity, speed, and accountability
  • Strategic thinker with a strong execution bias
