Full job description

Director, Strategic Finance role responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, strategic analysis, and decision support. Oversee consolidated 3-statement operating model and partner with senior leadership on financial views, scenario planning, earnings guidance, Board materials, strategic initiatives, business analysis, and M&A. Manage Senior Manager, Strategic Finance. Requires 10+ years experience in strategic or corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or public company environment. Strong skills in financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint, accounting concepts, and executive communication. Benefits include fully paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Salary range $175,000 - $200,000. Location: Irvine, California, United States.

What you'll do

  • Lead forward-looking financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and ad hoc analyses
  • Oversee consolidated 3-statement operating model ensuring accuracy of projections and assumptions
  • Manage and develop Senior Manager, Strategic Finance
  • Partner with Corporate Finance and Investor Relations on quarterly earnings process
  • Support preparation of Board and Audit Committee materials with financial projections and executive narratives
  • Provide business analysis, pro forma modeling, and integration planning for M&A and strategic investments
  • Build and improve Strategic Finance analyses and planning workflows focusing on forecast integrity and efficiency

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or a high-growth public company
  • Experience leading or materially owning complex 3-statement financial models, long-range plans, annual budgets, and executive-level forecasting processes
  • Prior people management experience with ability to set direction, review detailed analytical work, develop talent, and hold team accountable
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and their impact on forecasts and business analysis
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Strong PowerPoint and executive communication skills
  • Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex analysis into clear narratives
  • BS/BA in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA and/or CFA a plus
