The Director, Software Engineering will lead the transformation of digital marketing capabilities through AI solutions. Requires 14+ years in technology leadership, experience with AI/ML technologies including LLMs, RAG architectures, LangChain, LlamaIndex, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), API design, microservices, containerization, and engineering modernization. Preferred qualifications include digital transformation leadership, mentoring experience, AI-enabled engineering organization building, and advanced degree in relevant fields. Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Requirements
14+ years in technology leadership roles
Proven track record of leading complex solution architecture for enterprise platforms
Experience building and leading engineering and architecture teams
Strong ability to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to drive organizational change and execution
Strong practical knowledge of modern AI/ML technologies and frameworks
Experience designing and implementing solutions with Large Language Models (LLMs)
Expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
Understanding of agentic design patterns, vector databases and semantic search technologies
Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex
Knowledge of responsible AI practices and governance
Expertise in cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Strong knowledge of API design and integration patterns
Understanding of data architecture principles for AI-ready systems
Knowledge of microservices, containerization, and modern engineering practices
Experience driving engineering modernization and AI-assisted development practices
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives (preferred)
Experience mentoring and developing technical talent (preferred)
Experience building AI-enabled engineering organizations (preferred)
Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field (preferred)
