Full job description

Director of AI Enablement role leading an engineering and innovation group to drive AI adoption at Skai. Responsibilities include managing teams, defining AI strategy, executing AI projects from concept to deployment, researching AI tools, partnering with internal teams to identify AI initiatives, and driving cross-functional AI adoption. Requires 5+ years managing technical teams, 2+ years working with AI concepts including GenAI and prompt engineering, entrepreneurial mindset, experience scaling engineering groups, strong communication skills, and preferably experience in global SaaS/high-tech companies.

What you'll do

Direct, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering and innovation group
Define the high-level AI roadmap to embed GenAI and advanced AI tooling into operations and ecosystems
Conceptualize and execute AI projects from proof of concept to full deployment
Research global AI tools and autonomous agent frameworks
Partner with internal teams to understand workflows and identify AI initiatives to boost efficiency
Drive AI adoption and cultural transformation across R&D, Product, Operations, and Business units

Requirements

5+ years managing a group of technical teams or individuals
2+ years working closely with AI concepts
Strong practical understanding of GenAI, prompt engineering, and agentic orchestration (context layers, tools, guardrails)
Proven ability to evaluate external AI tools
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take full ownership of ambiguous initiatives
Experience scaling engineering/innovation groups and aligning resources with business goals
Exceptional communication skills to articulate AI roadmaps to non-technical executives
Experience in global SaaS/high-tech companies preferred
Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments
