Full job description

Director of AI Enablement role leading an engineering and innovation group to drive AI adoption and integration at Skai. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring teams, defining AI strategy and roadmap, executing AI projects from concept to deployment, researching AI tools, collaborating with internal teams to identify needs, and driving cross-functional alignment. Requires 5+ years managing technical teams, 2+ years working with AI concepts including GenAI and prompt engineering, entrepreneurial mindset, experience scaling engineering groups, strong communication skills, and preferably experience in global SaaS/high-tech companies. Hybrid work model based in Tel Aviv, Israel.

What you'll do

Direct, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering and innovation group including pod leads and specialists
Define the high-level AI roadmap to embed GenAI and advanced AI tooling into day-to-day operations and ecosystems
Conceptualize raw ideas into concrete AI projects and push them from PoCs to full operational deployment
Continuously research global AI tools and autonomous agent frameworks
Partner with internal teams to understand workflows and bottlenecks and turn feedback into actionable AI initiatives
Drive AI adoption and cultural transformation by building alignment across R&D, Product, Operations, and Business units

Requirements

5+ years managing a group of technical teams or individuals
2+ years working closely with AI concepts
Strong practical understanding of GenAI, prompt engineering, and agentic orchestration (context layers, tools, guardrails)
Proven ability to evaluate external AI tools
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take full ownership of ambiguous initiatives
Experience scaling engineering/innovation groups and aligning resources with business goals
Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex AI roadmaps to non-technical global executives
Experience in global SaaS/high-tech companies preferred
Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments with agile methodologies
