Full job description

Lead client engagements in Content Supply Chain Analytics and audience platforms. Define and implement measurement frameworks, KPI strategies, and reporting solutions to evaluate content performance and business impact. Develop use cases and strategic guidance connecting content capabilities with audience activation and omnichannel marketing. Design content taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and measurement requirements. Develop KPIs for content processes to identify efficiency improvements. Establish baseline metrics to quantify platform investments. Build reporting frameworks linking content and marketing metrics to ROI. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop analytics solutions measuring content effectiveness and performance. Develop thought leadership in Content Supply Chain Analytics. Requires 8+ years experience in digital or marketing analytics, content operations, and related technologies including Adobe and Salesforce platforms. Strong consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills needed. Bachelor's degree preferred. Salary range $113,000-$190,000. Role is remote based in Maryland with some flexibility for in-office work depending on location.

What you'll do

  • Lead client engagements providing expertise in Content Supply Chain Analytics, audience platforms, data strategy, measurement, testing, and cross-channel customer engagement
  • Define and implement measurement frameworks, KPI strategies, and reporting solutions to track content performance, operational efficiency, adoption, and business value realization
  • Lead development of use cases and value hypotheses based on client objectives, platform capabilities, data availability, and organizational readiness
  • Provide solutioning and strategic guidance connecting Content Supply Chain capabilities with audience activation, personalization, and omnichannel marketing execution
  • Design and govern content taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and measurement requirements for content traceability, discoverability, performance analysis, and asset reuse
  • Develop operational and performance KPIs across content planning, creation, review, approval, distribution, and optimization processes to identify efficiency gains and process improvements
  • Establish baseline metrics and measurement methodologies to quantify impact of Content Supply Chain and audience platform investments
  • Build reporting frameworks and insights programs linking operational, content, and marketing performance metrics to business outcomes and ROI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop analytics solutions for Content Supply Chain initiatives including innovative methodologies to measure, predict, and optimize content effectiveness, creative fatigue, asset reuse, and overall content performance
  • Develop Merkle points of view (POVs), thought leadership, and industry content related to Content Supply Chain Analytics, audience platforms, measurement, and value realization

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital analytics, marketing analytics, Content Supply Chain, MarTech, AdTech, consulting, or agency environments
  • Experience with planning and execution of digital campaigns in channels including search, display, email, site, mobile
  • Experience defining and implementing measurement frameworks, KPI strategies, and reporting solutions
  • Deep knowledge of content operations, content creation workflows, and asset lifecycle management
  • Proven experience developing content taxonomies, metadata strategies, and data governance frameworks
  • Experience with CDPs, Content Analytics, Content Supply Chain, Site analytics technologies
  • Experience with Adobe Genstudio, Adobe Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar enterprise marketing technologies
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and consulting skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, influence stakeholders, and lead strategic client engagements
  • Graduate or bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred: Statistics, Technology or Marketing
  • Excellent presentation skills including creating client-facing PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage client expectations, delivery and provide thought leadership
  • Ability to provide clear briefs to onshore and offshore analysts
  • Ability to summarize key findings/insights and make actionable recommendations
  • Strong data-driven mentality and initiative-taking
