The Engineering Operations team at StackAdapt focuses on building and operating infrastructure, observability, and automation systems. This role involves owning and improving AWS infrastructure with emphasis on infrastructure as code, operational reliability, and scalable platform practices across distributed systems. Responsibilities include building and maintaining shared infrastructure, optimizing AWS services, managing infrastructure as code workflows primarily with Terraform and Terrateam, supporting secure deployments in cloud and Kubernetes environments, improving observability, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, establishing standards and documentation, and collaborating on scalable system design. Requirements include 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering, strong AWS production experience, hands-on Terraform and IaC experience, Kubernetes familiarity, observability tools knowledge (Prometheus, Grafana), production operations experience, and ability to leverage AI for development efficiency. The role is full-time, senior level, remote-first, open to candidates in Canada. Salary range is $116,000 to $159,500 CAD base.
