Full job description

Skai is seeking a DevEx Team Leader to improve developer productivity and satisfaction by leading the strategic roadmap for developer tools, platforms, and automations. Responsibilities include defining long-term developer tooling strategy, overseeing development of productivity tools and CI/CD pipelines, designing scalable platform solutions, tracking platform usage and costs, and acting as a liaison between developers and infrastructure teams. Requirements include 2+ years leading a DevEx team, experience with CI/CD systems, infrastructure automation for microservices and serverless applications, cloud production environment management (AWS), strong communication skills, and leadership experience. The role is full-time, hybrid based in Tel Aviv, Israel.

What you'll do

Define the long-term roadmap for developer tooling, experience, and platforms aligned with organizational goals
Oversee development and maintenance of core developer productivity tools, AI enablement, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation services
Design scalable platform solutions based on feedback and organizational needs
Define, track, and build observability on platform usage, utilization, costs, and bottlenecks
Act as the primary bridge between developers and infrastructure organization to ensure needs are met
Streamline onboarding, promote coding standards, and oversee creation of documentation and educational resources

Requirements

2+ years of experience leading a DevEx team
Proven experience leading a team of engineers with technical guidance and project execution
Deep understanding and practical experience with CI/CD systems, testing frameworks, and modern development environments
Experience with automating infrastructure provisioning and managing E2E platforms for Microservices and Serverless Applications
Strong communication skills and experience working closely with Dev and Infrastructure teams
Experience managing production environments on cloud setup (AWS)
