Full job description

The role is for a senior Data Architect responsible for designing and implementing data architecture, working with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineers to build data models. The candidate will lead architecture for enterprise analytics and customer platforms using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and BI platforms like Fabric and Snowflake. Responsibilities include translating business goals into technical solutions, serving as technical SPoC for stakeholders including C-level executives, defining data specifications and mappings, applying governance for scalability and availability, supervising implementation teams, and supporting pre-sales efforts. Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology-related field, 3+ years in data solution design and build, 5+ years with data modeling techniques, experience with CRM data modeling, large-scale data lakes/data warehouses, big data pipelines, BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau), machine learning/AI solutions, strong leadership and project management skills, proficiency in architecture methodologies and tools, SQL, programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, C++), relational and NoSQL databases, Agile methodologies, and French language skills. What you'll do

  • Assist in design and implementation of data architecture
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and data engineers to implement data models
  • Provide thought leadership and drive architecture of enterprise analytics and customer platforms
  • Deliver scalable implementations using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and BI platforms (Fabric, Snowflake)
  • Understand requirements from various data stakeholders
  • Translate business goals and use cases into technical solutions for actionable insights
  • Serve as technical single point of contact (SPoC) for all stakeholders including C-level executives
  • Help business/data analysts define specifications and data mappings
  • Apply governance methods for scalability, availability, fault tolerance, and elasticity aligned with enterprise standards
  • Supervise and guide implementation teams (data engineers, data scientists, BI consultants)
  • Support pre-sales by proposing technical solutions and effort estimates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technology-related field (Engineering, Computer Science, IT, etc.)
  • 3+ years experience in design and build of data solutions
  • Experience in CRM data modelling
  • Experience with large-scale Data Lake / Datawarehouse (DWH) solutions
  • Experience with big data pipelines / ETL / APIs development, preferably cloud-based
  • Experience in Business Intelligence projects using BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau
  • Experience with Machine Learning and AI oriented solutions
  • Minimum 5 years experience with Entity Relationship Models, Data Modeling techniques and Methodologies
  • Understanding of data concepts and patterns (Data Mesh, Data Lake, Master Data Management, data quality, lambda architectures, streaming processing)
  • Good business acumen in sales, finance, e-commerce, manufacturing/logistics, banking or CRM
  • Proficient in architecture methodologies and tools (diagraming and standards like Archimate, TOGAF)
  • Strong technical leadership, mentorship and collaboration skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Preferred: Experience handling large Architecture Review Board discussions
  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle (CI/CD)
  • Development skills in Python, Java, Scala, C++
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience in Data Modeling tools such as ER/Studio, Orbus, Oracle Data Modeler, Erwin Modeler, Power Designer
  • Good knowledge of metadata management
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFE)
  • Written and spoken French
