Merkle, a dentsu company, seeks a mid-level Enterprise Analytics / BI and Data Science Architect with 3+ years experience. The role involves designing scalable data solutions using AWS/Azure cloud technologies and BI platforms, translating business goals into technical solutions, setting architectural vision, and leading implementation teams. Requires experience in data lakes, data warehouses, big data pipelines, ETL, BI tools, data science/ML solutions, and strong technical leadership. Preferred experience with ERP and CRM systems. What you'll do

  • Provide thought leadership and drive architecture of Enterprise Analytics / BI and Data Science solutions
  • Translate business goals and use cases into technical solutions
  • Be the technical SPoC for all stakeholders
  • Set architectural vision and direction across teams
  • Propose conceptual/logical design for data components and integrations
  • Apply governance methods for scalability, availability, fault tolerance, and elasticity
  • Provide supervision and guidance to implementation team
  • Support pre-sales with technical solutions and effort estimates
  • Maintain internal framework for consistent and optimal delivery
  • Ensure full DevOps / DataOps automation of development/test/deployment processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technology-related field
  • 3+ years experience in design and build of data solutions
  • Experience with large-scale Data Lake / Datawarehouse solutions
  • Experience with big data pipelines / ETL / APIs development
  • Experience with Business Intelligence projects using BI tools
  • Experience with Data Science (Machine Learning) oriented solutions
  • Understanding of data concepts and patterns (Data Lake, Master Data Management, data quality, lambda architectures, streaming processing)
  • Good business acumen in sales, finance, e-commerce, manufacturing/logistics, banking or CRM
  • Proficient in architecture methodologies and tools (diagramming and standards)
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle (CI/CD)
  • Development skills in programming languages like Python, Java, Scala, C++
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical leadership, mentorship and collaboration
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Preferred: Proven experience with Data Lake / Datalakehouse implementations in AWS or Azure
  • Preferred: Understanding of Data Science (ML) concepts from business and technical perspective
  • Preferred: Experience with ERP solutions like SAP, NetSuite
  • Preferred: Experience with Marketing, E-commerce and CRM solutions like Salesforce, Adobe, or Google
