Full job description

Role: Data Scientist, Performance Analytics within Engineering to build performance intelligence for advertising platform. Analyze campaign and platform performance, identify anomalies and opportunities, investigate root causes, translate data into actions for Engineering, Trading, Product, and Business. Focus on understanding performance and recommending actions, not just reporting. Responsibilities include analyzing performance metrics (CPA, CPC, CTR, VCR, ROAS, spend, delivery, revenue), detecting anomalies, root-cause analysis, designing A/B tests, building reusable SQL/Python analyses, partnering with teams to improve outcomes, and automating investigations with AI. Requirements: Strong SQL and Python skills, experience with large-scale datasets, knowledge of Snowflake, Spark, Trino, Databricks, or BigQuery, understanding of data pipelines and quality, problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred experience in AdTech, marketplaces, recommendation systems, RTB, bidding, attribution, campaign optimization, or ML-driven systems. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS/IT) or equivalent required; advanced degree a plus. Work model is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
