Full job description
Innovid seeks a mid-level data scientist with 2-4 years experience or equivalent training in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related fields. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver data-driven insights and build AI solutions focused on Generative AI in AdTech. Responsibilities include designing and orchestrating AI workflows using Agentic frameworks like LangGraph, developing knowledge retrieval pipelines (GraphRAG, semantic search), fine-tuning LLMs with parameter-efficient techniques, and implementing evaluation frameworks for AI output quality. Candidates must have applied machine learning and deep learning experience, hands-on production ML deployment skills including containerization and cloud computing, and familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and Hugging Face. What you'll do
- Collaborate in high-impact projects from beginning to end with autonomy and accountability
- Proactively engage in problem-solving and addressing data or approach issues
- Read research papers and develop/build concepts into prototypes or proof of concepts
- Design, build, and orchestrate complex AI workflows using Agentic frameworks like LangGraph
- Develop advanced knowledge retrieval pipelines including GraphRAG and semantic search systems
- Experiment with advanced prompt/context engineering and fine-tune open-source LLMs using parameter-efficient techniques
- Implement robust evaluation frameworks to monitor quality, safety, and relevance of Generative AI outputs
- Communicate findings visually, verbally, and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- Degree or advanced training in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or other highly quantitative field or 2-4 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of advanced statistical and analytical techniques such as sampling methods, regression, statistical tests, and real-world applications
- Working knowledge of data structures, databases, and ETL processes
- Applied Machine Learning and Deep Learning experience
- Hands-on experience with production ML deployments including containerization, cloud computing, modern data warehousing, workflow orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code
- Generative AI experience with understanding of Agentic Workflows and practical experience with LangGraph
- Hands-on experience with leading LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and Hugging Face ecosystem
- Basic understanding of AI model optimization and deployment concepts such as model quantization and vLLM
- Knowledge of working with Coding Assistants to orchestrate multiple agents
