Full job description

Senior Data Scientist role on the Performance team at Vibe. Responsibilities include owning and improving the prediction stack, developing a unified multi-task model for visits, purchases, and other outcomes, taking models from exploration to production, designing new features from raw signals including household-level identity graph features, preparing the modeling stack for new data sources, optimizing for measurable advertiser uplift, and iterating in production. Requirements include professional deep learning experience, strong Python skills with PyTorch preferred, ability to diagnose model issues, build algorithms from scratch, and demonstrate business impact through KPIs. Hybrid work model with 2-3 days in office in Paris; relocation support available.

What you'll do

  • Own the prediction stack
  • Improve unified multi-task model predicting visits, purchases, and other outcomes simultaneously
  • Take ideas from exploration to production: dataset design, architecture, training, debugging, deployment, and monitoring
  • Work closely with Performance engineers building serving and bidding infrastructure
  • Design new features from raw signal including household-level features from identity graph
  • Prepare modeling stack to absorb new, richer data sources
  • Optimize for business impact with measurable uplift for advertisers
  • Iterate in production: ship, measure, adjust

Requirements

  • Real hands-on deep learning experience in a professional environment
  • Strong Python; PyTorch preferred (TensorFlow or JAX is fine)
  • Comfort diagnosing why a model works or fails: data leakage, bias, calibration, distribution shift, optimization issues
  • Ability to build algorithms from scratch and reason about what's under the hood
  • A track record of framing your work in business outcomes: you can point to the KPI you moved and by how much
