Amazon Advertising's AdTech Identity Program (AIP) team is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead a team in designing, developing, testing, and experimenting with algorithms, datasets, and systems. The role involves working closely with product management to define strategy and requirements, leading development from design through delivery and operation. Responsibilities include leading scientists and engineers, developing science roadmaps, performing data analysis, building machine learning models, running A/B tests, hiring and developing talent, analyzing data trends, applying statistical and machine learning techniques, identifying and resolving anomalies, building decision-making models, and presenting insights. Candidates must have 10+ years of experience building large-scale machine learning and AI solutions, a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, experience managing teams, and strong technical skills including big data technologies and programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, R, and MATLAB. Preferred qualifications include a PhD, 5+ years of hands-on big data and predictive modeling experience, and experience with AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, and Hive. The position is full-time, senior level, located in New York, NY and Palo Alto, CA, with a salary range of approximately $240,600 to $340,300 annually depending on location.
