Full job description

Tatari is seeking a Data Science Analyst to join their Data Science team. The role involves building scalable, automated data solutions and working with diverse data sets and technologies. Responsibilities include automating data-driven tasks, collaborating cross-functionally, performing ad-hoc data analysis using Python, PySpark, and SQL, and using tools like Databricks and Tableau. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 1-2 years experience with data manipulation software, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams. The position is full-time, hybrid with 2 days in-office per week, located in San Francisco, CA. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 plus equity and benefits including health insurance, 401K, education benefits, unlimited PTO, and wellness days.

What you'll do

  • Automate data-driven tasks; design processes that require zero intervention
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to deliver integrated business solutions
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis, utilizing Python, PySpark, and SQL to identify and forecast trends and conduct deep-dive quantitative analyses to optimize client marketing performance
  • Use best-in-class tools like Databricks, and Tableau to empower insightful analysis for advertising partners

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Computer and Information Science
  • 1-2 years of academic and/or professional experience in Data Manipulation Software (e.g., SQL, Python, Pandas)
  • Demonstrated abilities to manipulate, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data and to organize findings and translate them into actionable insights using original or innovative techniques
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail
  • Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business tools
  • A sense of curiosity and desire to learn
