Tatari is seeking a Data Science Analyst to join their Data Science team. The role involves building scalable, automated data solutions and performing ad-hoc data analysis using Python, PySpark, SQL, Databricks, and Tableau. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1-2 years of experience with data manipulation software. Responsibilities include automating data-driven tasks, cross-functional collaboration, trend forecasting, and optimizing marketing performance. The position is full-time, hybrid with 2 days in-office per week, located in New York, NY. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 with equity and benefits including health insurance, 401K, education benefits, unlimited PTO, and wellness days.

What you'll do

  • Automate data-driven tasks; design processes that require zero intervention
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to deliver integrated business solutions
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis using Python, PySpark, and SQL to identify and forecast trends and optimize client marketing performance
  • Use tools like Databricks and Tableau to empower insightful analysis for advertising partners

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Computer and Information Science
  • 1-2 years of academic and/or professional experience in Data Manipulation Software (e.g., SQL, Python, Pandas)
  • Ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail
  • Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business tools
  • A sense of curiosity and desire to learn
