Lead an engineering team to create maintainable code processing over 7 billion daily events using Hadoop and advanced data processing technologies. Design data models to extract meaningful insights from real-world data. Work on high volume, highly available systems critical to business success. Participate in architecture discussions, influence product roadmap, and own delivery of new projects. Requirements include BS in Computer Science or related field, 7+ years software engineering experience in compiled languages (C#, Java, Go), experience managing software teams, exposure to big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), strong foundation in computer science, familiarity with ETL and multi-stage data processing, and strong communication and leadership skills.
