Full job description
Verve is seeking a Data Engineer for a fully remote, 40-hour per week contract role. Responsibilities include collaborating with Product and Strategy teams to build customized reporting solutions, integrating internal and third-party data sources, streamlining prototyping processes, ensuring data integrity with monitoring, experimenting with new technologies, managing releases using Kanban, and maintaining code quality through reviews and automated tests. Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in SQL, experience with data visualization tools (Holistics, Looker, Tableau), data warehouse design and optimization (BigQuery, ClickHouse), batch ETL/ELT orchestration (Airflow, Temporal, Dagster), and familiarity with Google Cloud or AWS big data products. The role requires collaboration with US-based teams during business hours. Hourly rate is $30 to $50 USD.
