Full job description
The Data Center Engineer will manage day-to-day operations of the data center onsite in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities include hardware installation and decommissioning of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure, troubleshooting and repairing data center hardware and networking equipment, rack installation and equipment handoff, monitoring data center environments, maintaining documentation and SOPs, managing inventory and ordering parts, structured cabling and labeling, and completing projects. The role requires 5+ years of data center experience, knowledge of Dell PowerEdge servers, iDRAC, data center power standards, and ability to lift 75 lbs. Preferred skills include Linux OS, RACADM CLI, and Dell Openmanage Enterprise. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are required.
