StackAdapt is seeking a Data Analyst II for the Business Intelligence team within Advertising Technologies. This remote-friendly full-time role based in Canada requires 2+ years of data analytics experience, advanced SQL skills, and experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Sigma. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining dashboards and reports, writing complex SQL queries, recommending KPIs, managing reporting projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role involves leveraging AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to enhance workflows. The salary range for Ontario candidates is $76,000 to $90,000 CAD base. What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and datasets to support product, revenue, and operations teams
- Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources
- Identify and recommend new KPIs and metrics to improve business visibility
- Manage project plans for new reporting needs including requirements gathering and milestone tracking
- Partner with cross-functional teams to clarify data requirements and resolve data quality issues
- Own delivery of regular BI reporting cycles and contribute to KPI frameworks within first 6 months
- Support adoption of AI-assisted workflows using Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini
- Ensure reporting SLA adherence and data quality improvements
- Achieve stakeholder satisfaction through quality insights and responsiveness
- Complete reporting project plans on time and within scope
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a data analytics role
- Advanced SQL proficiency including complex queries and troubleshooting
- Experience with data warehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports using BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Sigma
- Strong project management skills including requirements gathering, milestone tracking, risk management
- Excellent communication skills for presenting data findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to write effective AI prompts, critically evaluate AI-generated output, and integrate AI tools into workflows
