PubMatic is hiring a Customer Success Manager to support Tier-1 Publishers in the Nordics, focusing on growing programmatic revenue. Responsibilities include managing publisher portfolios, influencing advertising strategies, understanding ad serving and SSP technicalities, ensuring timely technical integrations, collaborating with internal teams, generating reports, handling escalations, participating in business reviews, and traveling up to 20%. Requirements include 4+ years in client-facing roles, digital advertising/programmatic experience, success managing Tier-1 publishers, knowledge of RTB/PMP, ad networks, header bidding, proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, JIRA, and ad trafficking exposure with platforms like Google Ad Manager. What you'll do

  • Manage a portfolio of Tier-1 and high-potential Publishing businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and creating multi-quarter plans for achievement
  • Leverage analytical skills and knowledge of the programmatic marketplace to influence advertising strategy and execution towards 'programmatic-first'
  • Develop an understanding of technical aspects of ad serving and SSP functionality, including managing account setups and maintaining accounts on the PubMatic system
  • Ensure on-time execution of technical integrations and deliver service excellence during implementation
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including specialists, engineers, and product managers, to deliver customized implementation plans and define business goals, key strategies, and success metrics
  • Generate and interpret reporting to yield competitive insights for clients and support data-driven decision-making
  • Actively respond to escalations, including integration progress and issues, PMPs, discrepancies, and Inventory Quality concerns
  • Participate in and contribute to on-site quarterly business reviews with clients to review technical challenges and product support opportunities
  • Travel (up to 20%) to client sites for strategic and quarterly business review meetings

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in client-facing service roles, such as consulting or customer success and a high degree of commercial understanding
  • Prior digital advertising or programmatic ad tech experience
  • Proven success managing Tier-1 publishers and influencing decision-makers' perspectives
  • Experience working with high-growth clients
  • Knowledge of RTB/PMP, ad networks, and header bidding/wrapper; familiarity with various ad formats and platforms
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel (preferably Macros), Salesforce, and JIRA; and other analytics platforms is a plus
  • An engaged team player with strong interpersonal skills who knows how to have fun while achieving results
  • Ad Trafficking exposure using Ad Servers such as Google Ad Manager, Equativ, FreeWheel, Xandr, SpringServe or Publica
