Full job description

Customer Success Manager role at Smartly in Berlin focusing on managing and growing customer accounts in paid digital advertising across platforms such as Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Google, and programmatic. Requires 3+ years experience in paid digital advertising and customer success, strong communication skills in English, and ability to work hybrid from Berlin office 3 days a week. Responsibilities include managing customer relationships, advising on online marketing strategies, resolving advertiser issues, developing vertical expertise, and collaborating with product teams and partners. Willingness to travel for industry events is required.

What you'll do

  • Manage and nurture own customer accounts through day to day communication and online marketing expertise
  • Work closely with customers to hone their online marketing strategy and resolve advertiser issues including scaling budgets and campaign performance
  • Take full ownership and responsibility of growing and managing own book of business and develop vertical expertise
  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and skills for Smartly.io tool and paid social advertising
  • Build, manage and develop strong relationships with customers and partners such as Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat and TikTok
  • Collaborate with customers, Smartly Customer Success Managers and product development team to maintain quick feedback loop

Requirements

  • 3+ years of paid digital advertising experience (Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Google and programmatic)
  • Experience in a customer success or similar customer-facing function
  • Proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable addressing technical challenges and collaborating with technical teams
  • Results-driven mentality with bias for action and collaboration
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work hybrid from Berlin office 3 days a week or more
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences and industry events
  • Previous knowledge of Smartly or similar players is a plus
