Full job description

Customer Success Manager role at Smartly based in Sydney, Australia. Manage and nurture a portfolio of customer accounts, providing consultative advice and driving product adoption. Collaborate with customers to optimize social advertising campaigns on platforms including Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, and TikTok. Develop expertise in specific verticals such as e-commerce, travel, and mobile apps. Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams and partner with industry leaders. Requires 3+ years experience in customer success or account management in digital advertising, strong communication skills, ability to simplify complex ideas, and flexibility to work hybrid from Sydney office with occasional travel.

What you'll do

  • Own and nurture a portfolio of diverse customer accounts, cultivating long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Drive marketing excellence by collaborating with customers to optimize online advertising strategies
  • Be a product expert on Smartly’s platform and the broader social advertising ecosystem
  • Develop vertical expertise by managing a book of business within specific industries such as e-commerce, travel, and mobile apps
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to share customer insights and inform product development
  • Partner with industry leaders like Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, and TikTok to ensure best outcomes for customers

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in customer success, account management, or a similar customer-facing role, ideally in digital advertising
  • Comfortable navigating platforms like Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, and TikTok
  • Understanding of paid social advertising strategies
  • Empathetic and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate effectively
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Flexible and willing to travel occasionally
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model from Sydney office (3 days a week, more if desired)
