The Creative Specialist at Smartly will enable designers to maximize the value of Smartly’s Creative Suite by delivering expert training, supporting strategic customer conversations, and ensuring integration with industry-standard design tools. Responsibilities include acting as subject matter expert on Smartly’s Creative Suite, supporting Customer Success and Sales with creative guidance, delivering training programs and workshops, conducting live demos integrating Smartly with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, After Effects, collaborating to identify creative pain points and upskilling needs, developing documentation and tutorials, measuring training effectiveness, and staying current with design trends and advertising best practices. Requirements include 4+ years of design experience in digital advertising, graphic design, UI/UX, illustration, or motion design; proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, After Effects, familiarity with HTML5; experience delivering creative or technical training; strong communication skills; understanding of creative workflows in digital advertising; customer-focused attitude; ability to manage multiple projects; experience with LMS platforms is a plus; and a degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, or related field or equivalent experience. The role is full-time, mid-level, hybrid, and based in the Philippines.

What you'll do

  • Act as the main subject matter expert on Smartly’s Creative Suite and creative tooling, supporting Customer Success, Sales, and Product with advanced creative guidance
  • Partner closely with Customer Success to support pitches, demos, and exploratory creative conversations focused on advanced capabilities and workflows
  • Build and deliver training programs, workshops, and best practice sessions for new and experienced designers using Smartly’s tools
  • Conduct expert-level live demos (virtual and in-person) to help designers integrate Smartly with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, After Effects, and other industry-standard tools
  • Collaborate with teams across Customer Success, Sales, and Product to identify common creative pain points, upskilling needs, and opportunities to improve user adoption
  • Develop documentation, guides, tutorials, and templates to support ongoing creative education and self-serve learning
  • Measure the effectiveness of training and enablement programs using adoption, retention, and customer feedback metrics, and iterate based on insights
  • Stay current with design trends, creative software, AI in creative, and evolving advertising best practices to ensure Smartly’s creative training is modern and relevant

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience as a designer with expertise in digital advertising, graphic design, UI/UX, illustration, or motion design
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, After Effects, and familiar with HTML5 and other creative tools
  • Proven experience delivering creative or technical training to advanced learners
  • Ability to clearly communicate and demo complex creative concepts to experienced designers
  • Understanding of creative workflows end-to-end, especially within digital advertising and campaign production
  • Empathetic, customer-focused, and comfortable driving designer-to-designer conversations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with LMS platforms or content creation tools (a plus)
  • Degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, or related field or equivalent experience
