Quantcast is hiring a Commercial Director for South East Asia based in Singapore. The role requires 10+ years of sales experience in online advertising and management experience. Responsibilities include leading and growing a sales team, exceeding revenue goals, managing sales functions with the VP APAC, building partnerships with marketing, making sales calls, maintaining relationships with agencies and clients, reporting forecasts, and representing the company at industry events. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, experience in audience-based digital media selling, knowledge of online advertising technology, and proficiency with Salesforce.com. What you'll do

  • Lead a team of field advertising sales to exceed revenue goals within planned sales expenses
  • Participate in recruiting, growing, and managing a team
  • Work with the VP, APAC to manage all aspects of the team’s sales function including developing new and incremental business, setting goals and ICP lists, determining needs, and proposing appropriate programs
  • Build a trusted partnership with marketing to drive thought leadership initiatives and elite client engagement opportunities
  • Make sales calls throughout the territory and drive revenue directly and through the sales team
  • Develop and maintain strong high-level relationships with top-tier advertising agencies and clients
  • Provide regular reporting including forecasts against plans
  • Work closely with other functional areas to execute sales programs, deliver campaigns, and drive marketing programs
  • Build an intimate understanding of Quantcast products and their place in the industry
  • Build agency/direct client relationships with senior level executives
  • Represent the Company as a key external evangelist at industry events, conferences, panels, media/PR opportunities

Requirements

  • 10+ years sales experience in online advertising
  • Current or previous management experience
  • Proven track record of establishing and exceeding team and individual goals
  • Proven track record of personally pitching and closing business, in addition to building and managing a sales organisation
  • Strong analytical skills for managing a systematic sales funnel with key metrics, and for demonstrating ROI to advertisers
  • Outgoing and adept at creating professional relationships
  • Experience in audience-based selling of digital media is ideal
  • Strong understanding of fundamentals of online advertising processes and technology
  • Active in industry trade and networking events
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to QA own work
  • Hunter mentality, tenacity, and ability to think on your feet
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Adept at using Salesforce.com
